*Charged water flushing: large water flushing and small water flushing. The flushing water, the effective length of the operating rod, and the distance between the person and the live part must meet the requirements of the industry regulations.

*Power failure cleaning: after the power failure of the line, the workers climb on the pole and wipe with a rag. If it is not cleaned, it can be wiped with wet cloth or detergent. If it is still not cleaned, the insulator or composite insulator shall be replaced.

*Uninterrupted cleaning: generally, the insulator is wiped on the running line by using an insulating rod equipped with a brush or bound with cotton yarn. The electrical performance and effective length of the insulating rod used and the distance between the person and the live part shall comply with the provisions of the corresponding voltage level. The operation must be supervised by a specially assigned person.
